Strengthening of the foundation slab supported by a piled foundation system.
TECHNOLOGY
Soil improvement using controlled hydrofracturing (injection mode) with the PolyJET® method.
MATERIAL
PolyJet FT structural expanding polyurethane resin for soil injection, with a reaction time of less than 30 seconds.
DESCRIPTION
Differential settlement of the floor slab led to operational restrictions within the facility.
Crack opening was observed at the interface between the slab and the building frame, along with the formation of voids beneath the slab.
RESULTS
A comprehensive site investigation program was conducted to determine the extent of soil loosening.
Engineering calculations were performed, and the optimal ground improvement solution was defined. Targeted injection works were carried out beneath the pile-supported foundation using a localized injection approach.
As a result, stable positioning of the foundation slab was restored without interrupting dealership operations.
